I got my latest parcel through today, and got straight out to the garage to fit them, which is unusual for me as they quite often sit there for a few weeks,
anyways, I got a PM Merc air cleaner, which from what I can see is similar in design to the RSD, when fitting it says not to tighten up the breather bolts, anyone know why this is?
I also got some Eddie Trotta boards and a matching brake pedal, this is some awesome kit, very pleased, also got some Uskoolines chrome HT leads.
Photo's to follow maybe I can finish work early and pull it out of the garage for some pics while it is still light.
You don't want to tighten the breather bolts until you have the air cleaner attached to the throttle body as tightening the breather bolts prior to installing the air cleaner portion will make it impossible to line up the bolt holes for the throttle body. Tighten them once you have attached the unit to the throttle body.
