Hey everyone. Have an 06" Fatboy and having an electrical problem with the rear running lights. Just changed out the rear turn signals. Very easy hook-up. Un-plug old and plug in new. The problem is the running lights don't work but the turn signals do. Any help or advice will be appreciated...Thank You...
are you saying your rear turn signals don't light up as running lights? because they're not supposed to..only the brake light is a running light in the rear.. the rear turn signal bulbs (assuming NOT led's) are a single filament bulb.. if they flash on and off when you use the turn signal, they're fine
If you'd like to convert them to function as running lights and brake lights you can install a Run Turn Brake module. Otherwise, like Jim said, they only function as a turn signal.

Thanks friends, thought so but wasn't sure. Thought I hooked them up wrong. I really feel like an idiot now.. Well, thanks so much for all the in-put...

What color are the lenses? If they are amber, they are not legal to use as running lights (at least in most states). You need red lenses on them to run them at running lights.

I don't think that single filament bulbs can function as both running lights and break lights. I'm pretty sure that the Run Turn Brake module you're referring to just makes the brake light flash a few times when it first comes on (on top of allowing the turn signals to function as running lights).
