I have used Rush several times and have nothing bad to say about them. They sell high quality products and have great customer service. I have the crossover system and like it a lot. The ceramic coating makes a HUGE difference in the amount of heat you feel. I feel almost no difference in heat from right side of bike to left.
Thanks for all the replies! I am sold on this exhaust system...just need to decide on the 2.0 or the 2.25 baffle. Don't want to rattle my neighbor's windows.
WTH ? Just called my local tuner (dynojet approved) he said to stay away from Rush and Cobra products. He mentioned that they were hard to tune and were cheap. He is recommending Bassani, Python, and V&H. Also recommending PC 5 as a tuner. Feel free to chime in on these recommendations. I don't have money to burn on the wrong upgrades.
Never herd of that problem before.
Fuelmoto had no problems tuning my bikes with rush pipes and slipon's.
Had no problems with my slip-ons either on my Sportster. I may give Fuel Moto a call to see what they think and to see if they have maps for this exhaust. These exhaust are on b.o. according to several online sites. I may switch gears and go with V&H Big shots. The indy said a 2:1 will not better than a 2:2 with a stock engine or an engine with SE Cams.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I think many forum members can backup my statement that our products are not difficult to tune and are not cheap. I'm not trying to bash your tuner but I feel Rush products are not cheap. We use 16 gauge steel which is thicker than stock exhaust and most aftermarket exhaust which means it will produce a solid note and will be more durable. All of our full systems and headpipes come standard with inside and outside ceramic coating of the pipe at no extra charge. We also offer a 10 day guarantee through our Ride on Us program for all full systems and headpipes. If you are not satisfied with the quality or performance you can return it. That alone shows how confident we are in the quality and performance of our systems. Most popular 2:1 systems will have better performance than a 2:2 system, even on stock engines, when properly tuned. It is very important to select the proper baffle size to match the size of the engine when using Rush 2:1 systems to maximize performance.
Our 2:1 systems for Dyna's are currently available. Please contact me if anyone needs assistance finding a dealer.
