That visor ring might not look bad on your nacelle in chrome? I've seen some in the reverse, chrome housing with painted/PCd trim ring and they looked pretty good with the contrast so just the opposite may look good since you have other chrome left.

There's a good thread on here somewhere over fitment of the Nacelle to a Deluxe & none of them used the hardware kit, you just have to grind down 4 points on the light bar at the bolt fixing points to allow some clearance!

Guys
I've been using the search button, and reading about the install of this Nacelle, seems its not going to be too straight forward for me, as from what I've read the trim ring fits over the oem ring, well I dont have an oem ring, I have a visored ring, there are people who have fitted it without, but from what I can gather it fits better with the original one in place, I'm going to have to locate one from somewhere.

Si, read this thread, there are a few about this but this is quite a good one,
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...headlight.html

post no 49 seems like a good idea.

Mmmmm, interesting! Thing is though, if you fix it over the oem one, why can't we just use new trim rings we already have then? Maybe due to depth or fitting against the Nacelle? I'll just have a play around with things when I get it!

I had the dealer install mine, but when they gave me my original back the original ring was in the box.

I wish I didn't read this thread. I wanna order one real bad. Good thing I'm impatient or I would order one now. I went over a friends house and he has one on his fatboy and it looks sweet.
