Either they're on it Monday AM or they refund the money you spent on the dealer prep. If you get any bullshit I too would be calling the MoCo directly. I might anyhow. This is complete BS. Stand your ground!
Dude, a rear wheel with all loose spokes is NOT a minor thing! Thats deadly and that dealership should have been kissing your *** and thanking God you did not wipe out, hurt yourself or God forbid anything worse! I would have demanded to speak to the manager of that dealership and the owner of that dealership as well and they should have also stopped everything right then and there and fixed your bike, PERIOD! I would make this a major thing to them, that is nothing to be taken lightly. I would go all the way to the top and if you are still not taken care of and at least comped somehow I would be calling the local news affiliate and or local newspaper. That is just unexcusable service especially for what we all have to pay for these bikes. I would be there 1st thing Monday morning asking to speak to someone all that way at the top and remind them what could have happened to you had that wheel failed, completley, at 60 mph!! As for riding with spokes? I been riding since the early to mid 70's and never had one fail or a single problem with any of them but I also maintained them and always checked them with each and every cleaning.

That **** sucks ***!!! Like earlier said, loose spokes are not minor. One question for you though. I understand the bike is new but you said that only the last 5 miles of the 35 mile trip are highway. What are the other 30?
WOW ,glad your OK.
Just think what could have happened . For what we pay for these bikes , this type of thing should never happen. What happened to there PDI ??
Not good Man,Not good.
My 10 Heritage done the same thing, had about 6000 miles on it and i checked the spokes at 5000 mile service. Doing 75 or so passing a semi with my wife right behind me. I rode it on to the dearler in the emergency lane. Replaced the spokes that day. Glad ur ok and that is a bad deal. I actually had spokes that was to the point of falling out.
This issue is exactly why I swapped the spokes out for cast wheels on my RKC. I plan on taking some very long trips on this bike, and I don't plan on getting derailed by spoke problems.
