Default New Blackline Owner...

Just traded in my RK Custom for a 2011 Blackline....

I've always been a V/H guy...so I decided to go with the 2into1 Big Radius...

This is the first 2into1 exhaust I've used since I put one on an old Sporty I used to own, had it on the Sporty for a week and took it off and put the drags back on her....

Anyway...I'm having a tough time finding the specs on the correct Fuelpak...

I'm seeing two that are coming up when I search.

61001A- 2001-2011 Softail w/140 Rear Tire (Blackline has a 140)
61007A- 2008-2011 Softail w/200 Rear Tire...

The choice should be obvious...but Depending on which vender I look at I see both listed for the 2011 Blackline...what the hell does tire size have to do with which tuner I use anyway?

Must be a fitment issue.....

Anyone running a Fuelpak on their 2011 Blackline? Let me know which one you went with...having a tough time finding a map as well V/H seems to be very cryptic when it comes to the Blackline.....

Always like the Fuelpak because it's easy..plug and play and it woks...maybe not the fine tuning I could get with another system....but I'm OK with that. With the trouble I'm having I may go with another tuner for the Blackline....

Any info for the Fuelpak is appreciated. I'm taking a long trip first week in may and I can't stand stock pipes......

You may want to consider the Power Vision from Fuel Moto. What a slick system this is and the service and support you get with Fuel Moto is outstanding. I know it was the best mod I made with my bike. Good luck in your search.

The FuelPak is a great system and works very well. I have one on my bike as well as an XiED hooked up.

Go onto the V&H website and go through the set-up program and that'll tell you what map to use. Anything that doesn't appear on the program will direct you to contact their technicians. Send an email with how your intake and exhause is set up and they will send you the correct map. It's very simple. I had to contact them, as well. You'll have an answer in a day.

I agree the Fuelpak is a great system....I've had them three on previous bikes....

I've been to the website...not very user friendly when it comes to the Blackline.

Really just trying to figure out which FP I need first...I sent them an email on Friday and got an out of the office message...I'm sure they'll get back to me ASAP.

Welcome to Blackline side

Well I went with the V&H's 2 into 2 BR's for pipes, and I was in the same boat when it came to choosing a fuel pack. It was driving me nuts as I got confused when it gave me the same option (140 or 200 Rear) Due to that, I went with HD - Screaming Eagle tuner this time round since it was available in stock and V&H's was out of stock at the time.

On my last HD, I had the V&H's fuel pack which did give me a few problems during my time and thought why not try something new this time round. PlusI was getting mixed reviews on the V&Hs fuel packs for 2011's & 2012's and noticed a lot of HD owners here swapping the V&H's tuners out for the SE.

Oh yeah, I threw in a new set of 204 Cams which also convinced me to go with the SE Tuner.

I hear Fuel Moto is really good according to the reviews and users.

Congrats on the new scoot. I just came back from Bike Week in AZ where I rented a Blackline - it was a very cool ride and completely changed my opinion of the bike. I really liked it.

Got a hold of V/H this morning...

Spoke to Derrick...

The 61007A is the correct V/H part number for the Fuelpak that will work with the Blackline FXS. I asked him what the deal was with the tire sizes and he told me it was strictly a fitment issue..

So I asked why the Blackline needed the 61007A when it was for the 200 tire...apparently the leads on the 61007A are required for the Blackline, they are longer.

I suggested they update the website so far as the application chart goes.
