I echo what the others have said: glad that you got through the accident relatively unscathed. As far as the bike is concerned, consider this an opportunity to do some of the upgrades you may have been wanting. I know this situation is agrivating, so make the most of it. And try to have some fun with the mods/choices that you have to make as you get your bike back to its best. We're here for you bud.
First glad your ok.. I first looked at the picture and said well he took the windshield off big deal lol.. Pisses me off too we are not invisible people just don't pay attention.
Damn man! Glad your safe! Don't worry your bike will get patched up better than before.
So what is that lying in the middle of the road behind you bike? A person a bike???
Thanks for all the positive thoughts out there from everyone.
I think what you are seeing in the photo is just a tarp from a construction project that is going on just out of frame of the camera. It's not the best picture since it was off of my phone, but the car in the background is hers, and that dark spot in the rear corner is her missing chunk of bumper that the bike broke off. I should have taken better shots of her car - the rear quarter panel is crushed in from me slamming into her car.
I'm shocked I'm in as good of shape as I am. I'm sure I will feel it for the next week, but how bad can it be if I'm shopping for bikes
The woman felt bad. She claims she didn't see me, but I think she was just busy trying to beat the light and wasn't really looking. Schit happens, and I'm just glad no one was seriously hurt. I'm a big guy, so its going to take a lot more than a Honda Civic to put me down. If it had been a pickup truck, I would have been in trouble though
Damn brother! Glad to hear you made it out of that one to tell us about it. Hope they compensate you well for not only the bike, but for your pain as well!
