Default A few comments and one question.

Just had a question about a small problem with my Rocker. Past few times I've went to start it, it occasionally will turn over and then not fire. I try it again then it will fire. One time when it failed to fire and when I stopped trying it let off a hell of a backfire. Its almost like there is a build up of excess gas and its not firing or there's a lack of gas getting to the engine at first. The only thing I can think of that I may have done is when I pulled the tank off I didn't run the lines empty until the engine died, which I read I was supposed to do after I had put everything back together. Just wanted some input from those more knowledgeable.

Also thought I'd pass along some info for Rocker owners. As you probably know the brake/turn lights run about 450 bucks since they no longer make them in house. Also, should you happen to need just the red lens cover that is no longer available, only the whole assembly. After doing some reading I saw that Nightster tail lights we're used for the Rocker. While the styling is very similar the lens cover won't work without some minor modification. You'll need to shave down some of the tabs that clip it in to place and then can use a small bead of silicone to seal it and hold it in place. May be useless info but it saved me from fishing out 450 bucks and instead only 7.

I was also wondering if people knew if Heartland had lowered their prices recently. I got a quote for a fender for my Rocker, it was a full fender complete with license plate holder and brake light for only 895. Seems like I remember reading about people paying upwards of 3000 for theirs.

I believe the 3k is for the entire 200 kit, not just the fender

I've had that happen several times when I start it in gear. I started to start it in neutral after that no problem since. Not saying it will fix anything, that's just what worked for me. Oh I've taken my tank off many time, no starting problems. Good luck
