The title says it all. I want a referral in the Minneapolis area for a shop that can take 1.5" off the top of my windshield and do it well. I know I can buy a 2nd shorter one but would rather not go through the hassle of selling the present one because it would then have no use to me.
I've cut mine twice,, I use a ROTO-Zip and it cuts like butter..
Now, are U cutting it because its to high or for wind buffering.??
If U cut it I'll say the U will or can mess up the coating on the shield and cause it to come loose at the edges.. Mine did, it will be fine for a Yr or 2 but it could cause it to look different where it comes loose, as mine did, its keeps loosing it coating as time goes on. Mines now has two places thats about 2-3 inchs from the top thats 2-3 inchs wide the I can see a diff in the shield..
Don't really see it untill the light hits it just right..
