I just had Rush 7020 ST Crossover pipes installed on my 2011 Fatboy. I really like them except they only have 1/8" clearance between the heatshield and my right floorboard, when they heat up, they touch. Anybody else have these pipes on their bike and what kind of clearance do you have? My biggest concern is that in a tight turn my floorboard can't pivot up. I'm in touch with customer service and wating to see what happens. Thanks!

get the harley goodies floorboard extenders and you will solve your issue
+1 on the Harley Goodies floorboards. I have the same pipes on my 2012 Heritage with the extensions and there's no problems, plus a helluva lot more comfortable. AL
The wife has a 2011 fat boy with rush slash cut cross-overs, they did not hit, but the floorboard extensions make the bike so much more comfortable and will give you the clearance you're looking for
Similar question, I have those on my bike but have not actually used them... Getting all the tins painted so bike is stripped down.... Question is how is the performance?

I don't think they added much to the wife's FB
the sound is great, the temp reduction is awesome and the primary reason we bought them, the fit and finish is great, installation was a breeze
we did those pipes, a K&N filter (in the stock air box) and XIEDs all together and it really knocked down the temps on her bike
Thanks for the reply's! With the floorboard extensions how much is cornering clearance reduced, is it noticeable? I live where the roads are really twisty and also alot of hills, I drag my floor boards as is from time to time. Also, how do they look with the extensions, does it look odd? Thanks! For those with the Crossovers, how close were they to your floorboards?
I've had my Rush mufflers for 5yrs and I am totally happy with them, I have also called the Rush tech line several times and they will bend over backwards IMO to help Ya..
I dont' have a complete system but I feel they will work with U to Ur sanctification with Ur issue.

Only slightly, plus my wife's bike is lowered 2 inches
Honestly you wouldn't even notice the extensions on a bike with them unless you were looking for them and directly at them, but you feel them, way more comfort
On her bike we didn't have any clearance issues even in stock floorboard positions
