I just had Rush 7020 ST Crossover pipes installed on my 2011 Fatboy. I really like them except they only have 1/8" clearance between the heatshield and my right floorboard, when they heat up, they touch. Anybody else have these pipes on their bike and what kind of clearance do you have? My biggest concern is that in a tight turn my floorboard can't pivot up. I'm in touch with customer service and wating to see what happens. Thanks!
Keep me in the loop on this. It should be a tight fit but with enough room for normal operation. I'll PM you my info if you would like to contact me directly.

I went out to the garage and shot some pics of the wife's FB
you can see the rush crossover and the floorboards with the extensions.
now the extensions push out the boards about 3/4 in - but you can still see that the exhaust was still well clear of the boards evern without the extensions, they just make the ride so much more comfortable, and you can go with black or chrome versions (since baby likes chrome, we went that route)
Hey lgenf,
Thanks so much for the reply and pics! I can definately see yours has more clearance than mine. Your pipes appear to tuck in much closer to the engine than mine.
Just wanted to update everyone on this thread. I just got my bike back from the dealer today and Rush ended up replacing my complete exhaust w/out any charge at all. Ran the bike all day! Ryan (from Rush) who is on this forum took care of everything and was extremely helpful, he even contacted the dealer and sent the pipes directly to them. The new pipes look and sound great. Between the pipes, a SE stage 1 air cleaner, and SE race tuner, the bike definately has more kick and runs cooler. After all this, I will definately buy and recommend Rush pipes. As a side note, New Castle HD in PA did the work. I hade to wait for them to order a new 02 sensor because one had seized in the old pipes. I thought here we go with another added cost. Anway, they covered the cost of the 02 sensor, I didn't even buy the bike there. After having had other work done by them and now this experience. They're the only dealer getting my business!
Hey man that's great news. Sounds like Ryan stepped up for Rush and that New Castle did the same. Glad that your happy with the service and the pipes. I get lots of compliments on the sound off mine with the 2.0 baffles.
