U can run the stock one but its gonna shorten rear travel if u lower it. The one hl supplies is from a softail standard i believe and its a third of the size
The bump stop that came with the Rocker kit is a standard softail stop.. The stock Rocker stop is a lot thicker and will limit how much you can drop the back end and limit the travel. Trust me.. I left mine on and slammed it and the swingarm was jammed on the stop.. Felt like a rigid.. Changed the stop and everything was good.. If you lost the HL stop you can get a stock FXST stop from the dealer like mentioned above..
You guys are the best!! I thought I was gonna have to deal with Heart Land and they were gonna be charging me a billion dollars for "their" bump stop. Lolol I'll just get it from the stealership instead and let them rob me of my money lololol.
I love this place, I just wanna say something to everyone that comes across this thread and takes the time to read these posts and especially to those of you that chimmed in to help. This board is unlike any other I've seen or been a member off (I'm currently a member of another board for my Camaro). Call me cheesy but I get a sense of brotherhood here man, people here actually take the time to help, give advice, NOT bash, NOT get into pissing contests and NOT brag.
To all of you, I raise my virtual beer mug and pound a cold one down to honor ya (for those of you that live close to me, we'll do it in real life once I put my baby back together). Lolol
