Default cams for 07 deuce?

Alright just did stage 1 on the deuce, Vance bss pipes big sucker 2 intake and screaming eagle tuner. Dyno tuned it pulled 79hp and 91.3 ft lbs. Question is, love the torque and the 6 speed. But I want a little extra power, so looking at doing a cam swap and looking for some input, seems to be SE Andrews and woods cams, do u guys go with chain or gear drive? Right now ill b running stock pistons and heads. Possibly internal work down the road. But what kind of increase can I expect.

I have an 07 as well, has VH BR2into2, SE heavy breather, & PCV. I installed Andrews 48H cams and have been very satisfied, its a drop in chain drive cam. You can feel the torque difference for sure, the power is on que when you twist the throttle, and the lope they have at idle sounds great as well, which I wasn't expecting.

I actually have an appointment tomorrow to get it on the dyno and dialed in. I dont expect peak numbers to be to much more that what you have listed, maybe mid 80's hp/90's tq.

I have the SE 211's in my scooter and I couldn't be more pleased with it!! It has awesome tourqe and power but thats not all I have either. I would think the people on this sight can give you good information and advise. Don't only ask what cam but the why's too? Sometime the Devil is in the details!!

I have the woods 777 cams and they are awesome... drop-in, re-use your chain drive if it's still ok..

alright guys... finally got some money layin around and i need the extra power... mostly ride highways 55-75mph and need the extra passing power. 50% of the time i have someone on the back of the bike.... bike has big sucker 2 intake, VH BSS pipes, SERT. 79hp 91ft lbs....

seen good numbers from numerous cams and still confused.... on what i want/need... bikes i mainly ride with r a vstar raider, 95" wide glide, and a 1250 sporty with high comp and cams...

and as far as a drop in cam? mean no valve adjustment i can just drop in and go? also would it be benefical to spend another $150 on a tune or will i be fine for now... Thanks

I put SE 204's in my Night Train and love them. A friend put them in his 88 and was extremely pleased. They make good power down low and didn't effect my mileage harldly at all. Some say to advance them 4 degrees put both of us put them in straight up and are very happy. You can spend more, but my opinion is it's a cruiser not a rice rocket.

U don't need cams, So why fudge with it.. U already have more TQ and HP than most get with stg1 and cams...

U'r about 7-10 more TQ and 5-9 HP above the average stg1 job.

Really Ur numbers are the highest STG1 only 96'er I've ever seen and I've seen Hundreds and Hundreds of dyno sheets.

I wouldn't touch U motor any more unless U do head work along with cams.

I hate to see U add cams and loose TQ and HP..
