Good for them. I'm actually surprised that any state would repeal their helmet law. Man, I've worn a bucket so long now that I don't even care anymore. Good thing too, cause there's not a chance in hell that it will ever be repealed in California.
I always said i would never ride without a helmet...until i went to daytona bike week and now im back in maryland and wish they would do away with the helmet law!

Missouri has a helmet law but the states the surround Missouri do not, but anytime I go to Ill or Ark I still wear a helmet......just habbit. Kinda feels weird without one on.
I never rode with a helmet until I moved to Michigan back in the 1990s. When I moved back to Ohio, I felt very odd without one. Maybe it is my age, but I never ride without one now, even just down the street testing things out.
This year, I even bumped things up from a 1/2 to a Licks 3/4.
I hope to take a ride this summer along the west shores of Lake Michigan...my old stomping grounds. Nice ride up to Traverse City.

I'm a so sad. I remember the good Ol days of ditching class and racing our sportbikes down to the beach wearing nothing but boardshorts, glasses, tanks, and flip flops!!!
