Look at the specs on the HD website but last time I checked the seat height on the LO is 24.5 and the fat boy is 26.5 I think. I am same height and inseam as you and the Lo just fit me much better stock. That being said, you can always put some lowering bolts in the fat boy and drop it or change the shocks. Good luck
Now that, if it works, is genius, I'm with you, easy = good! Will try it next time around, I do like chrome!
It does, try it on your ultra. Ive read multiple posts on that from guys on this forum. Tried it and I love the results. Wished I had known this years ago because I hate polishing chrome. Very time consuming.

Same bike!! But for me it was the LO! I love all the black! Especially the wheels! I didnt like the flat silver wheels that come with the regular boy! And the chrome you pay extra for wheels would be a pain in the a$$ esp the rear wheel to clean! But everyones different i just liked the Lo better!
For what it's worth i would go chrome ...... Give it say ten years and see what a lo looks like that has not been cleaned to well and just had windex used on it for all that time don't think it's gonna win any shows .... Vivid Black and Chrome THE Classic combination! .....
