I always liked the swirl like on tq's bike... two tone middle of the tank ...
thanks bro!
warg, if it was me you know i would say go custom...but your red really looks sweet. there isn't too much red sleds out there. but if your doing your fenders, your might as well as do your tank too. it will definitely put your bike over the top.
Warg, interesting turn signals by TX Outlaw no doubt. Link below is a set caught my eye thinking may go with when my time comes mod the rear fender lighting and turn signals.
How much of a headache is taking all the stuff off an EFI tank to paint? And I guess I would need to buy a new gasket for the fuel pump plate, ect? Anything else I need to do?
it's not too hard getting the tank off. it looks like you already changed your dash so you should know how to disconnect the electrical that runs under your dash. Make sure to disconnect the fuel line that connects to your tank before lifting it up. Those fuel lines break easily on the other end where it connects to the manifold. It was a $50 mistake I made. Oh and try to do it when your tank is empty. it'll make it much easier.
