Well thanks to you guys for input on the front fender I finished filling the rest of the holes. Once that was finished I stripped the rest of the paint and covered it with bomb can primer. I was on my way to stripping the rear fender and tank when the freeking rain came. The front fender came out better than I hoped, not bad for my first shot at this.
Now for the paint stage. I have never painted anything before (aside from a trailer I built) so I am hesitant to spend a ton of cash on product for fear of failure.
With that in mind I was considering Duplicolors paint shop paint. Anyone use it? Good, bad or otherwise? The way I figure it is it is not hard to take it down and do it again if I decide to go with a high dollar paint product down the road.

Don't look at it as potential failure. See it as a mistake and, as we all do, learn from your mistakes. So far, I've spent about $75 on paint, just to find the right color/effect. And not nearly enough of it to actually paint my tins.
Hell, the bomb can primer might not even be a bad choice.
