Has anyone tried this seat? Any feedback/pictures? It looks pretty sweet and I read one reviewer that said he liked it. I would be putting it on a 2012 FB Lo.
I got the HD signature series seat because it is the only HD seat with a drivers backrest. Wife loves it. It's only OK for me. Seats are very rider specific. I put 6 different seats on my goldwing before I found one I like.
Anyway.... thanks ahead of time for comments/pics on the saddlemen seat. BTW... anyone want to buy a signature series seat that is almost brand new?
I had one but sent it back, I am 6 foot 5 and the seat pushed me forward which I didn't like.
I think I can deal with moving forward. The signature series seat moved me forward and up. I'd rather not be moved up... but that's not a deal breaker. The only thing I'm really concerned about is comfort on my ***.
I dont know about the seats for the softail yet, but I had one on my fatbob and I loved it. I didnt care for the look as i prefer the streamlined look of the stock seat but for comfort it was great. I bought it right before going to sturgis last year and ended up leaving it on until I traded in the bike.
I am currently thinking about getting one for the Fatboy but need to slow down on the spending for a little while. If you get one please let me know how you like it and show some pics please.
I have a Saddlemen Explorer seat that I purchased for two up riding. Now my wife has her on scoot and I have no use for it so I'm selling it in the classifieds. It is a very nice, very comfortable seat. My wife liked it alot. It does sit a little lower but I didn't notice it moving me forward. I'm 5'6" and actually could have stood to been a little more forward. The sitiing position makes you feel "in the bike" as opposed to "on the bike" and the riders backrest is nice. The position is kind of laid back so it's a great seat for long rides with maximum comfort.
I have the Saddlemen King seat, same "drivers" seat as the Explorer, but the passenger section is more narrow. I absolutely love this seat, and if I begin carrying a passenger more often the only seat I will replace it with is the Explorer for the wider, more comfy seat for the passenger.
