Just to update I've decided to go the route of the C&C sport tour.
Anyone with the C&C seats have first hand experience with their leather? I've been doing quite a bit of research on the subject and overall it sounds like the people who have went with leather really seem to like it. While people who go vinyl really seem to like it. My bike is stored indoors when its not being rode and I normally at least make an attempt to avoid rain. Leather just seems like the right way to go. I can't see where some normal leather care every few months would be a big deal to keep it looking new? Opinions?
Thanks
Just got this Corbin seat for my wife installed today. My Corbin will be soon. Cant speak for the passenger seat yet but I have always used Corbins on my Harley's with zero regrets.
I have C&C Sport tours on my Roadglide and my Fatboy. The bagger seat is vinyl no custom stitching. The vinyl is nice better than the stock seat vinyl.
I just got the Sport tour for the Fatboy last week. I ordered it diamond tuck stitched leather. It's alot nicer than the vinyl for sure.
Both are super comfortable for me and the wife. Quality 2nd to none. Fit and finish on their seats is awsome.
Ive got a leather Harley Stripper seat for my solo rides but I think I'm going to sell it because the C&C is more comfortable.
Stock 07 fxstc king/queen seat I can ride all day solo and it's even more comfy with the ol on the back nice soft DD backrest lol
She has no complaints about the her "rear" feel but does mention from time to time how she wishes the sissy bar and pad were a few inches higher up on her back.
look into a Med-Low bar from HD. its just about 3" higher then the stock or standard low bar.. like everything for a 07 FB, it had to be modified slightly. I had to drill holes in the center plate to match the back pad(2 holes) for the fatboy, but it wasn't hard and looks factory with careful measuring.. if you have a 1 hole/bolt back pad its a direct bolt up.. it did wonders for the mrs back..
