just got the bike last month and the crank sensor went out. just got it back and have been out riding and noticed this morning on the way to work that I am just above empty at 120 miles on the trip. I hope it's a bad gage... thanks guys, I'll fill it up tonight and then write here in the morning what my actual mileage is.

OUCH @ 125 per tank. Mine depends on how hard I ride that day. Easy day and I get 45 mpg and a hard day it drops to 35, heehee

Forgot to add: Definately something wrong with the scoot or your calcs.

I usually get about 200 miles out of a tank, and most of my riding is in the city, gunning it. If it were highway miles, it would probably be more like 240-250.

I checked... 29 mph.... with a cam and pipes... and I did it all with a local club, so I was on it hard most of the time.

I have a '02 Heritage fuel injected also. The gas guage doesn't work, and from what I've read here about HD guages I don't plan too. I'm too used to using the trip meter anyway.

I get 42-45 mpg on mine.

For romping on it with a group thats about normal I would say, you need to take a ride and find out if you are bothered by it. Around town and hard on the throttle a lot it will suck up the fuel

For one thing, it depends how you ride. You probably have a 5 gallon tank. If your only getting 125 miles per tank then your only getting 25 miles per gallon. To me, somethings wrong dude. Like others have said, don't go by the idiot gauge. At 125 miles, when you fill up, how many gallons does it take to fill her up? If it takes near the 5 gallon mark, you should have it checked out. It could be numerous things wrong. With your set-up, you should be getting much better gas mileage...Good luck...
