Default gas mileage?
2002 Heritage Softail with FI.... 125 miles per tank... is that right?

Not even close...... Are you going by the idiot light on the fuel gauge.

Did you fill the tank at 125 and how much fuel did it take?

My gas gage failed and of course I ran my Fat Boy out of gas. Full tank to empty = 268 miles. Mostly freeway @ 70/80mph.

Depends,
If I am on the throttle 35mpg
If I just cruise 45 mpg
Stage I uprgrade

I used to get around 45 mpg solo. Now I am lucky if I get 40. Changed out my stock exhaust to a 2:1 Supertrapp but have done no other engine mods. Not sure if that could have had such an affect as I am experiencing. Haven't run the tank all the way down but I will get around 160 to 170 out of every 4 gallons.

07 Deluxe, Stage II air kit, SERT...I average 38-45 depending on whether I stay out of the throttle and if I end up in stop-n-go traffic

I get 40-42 with the mods in my sig. Wife gets almost the same with just a FATCAT exhaust only, on a FLSTN. We top off and check it. She rides easy most of the time, i ride like i stole the bike....
