Amazing, well done. I wasn't a huge fan until I looked at the finished pictures. I remember when this thread was first started and I just didn't know how the tank would look but you nailed it.
Jeff
Thanks for the thumbs up you guys. I'll try to get a better picture of the paint. It's candy red over a small red flake. Looks great when the sun hits it. Just about to head out for a ride right now. Got it registered last week.
Here are a couple more:
PM hand controls and Autometer 5" playback tach with shift light. To the left of the left side hand controls you can see the buttons for the Pingel electric shifter.
All wiring terminations and electronics, shifter control setup, battery, etc. are under the seat. The top and side panels are removeable for service. The rear fender is adjustable to move forward or backwards as the chain is adjusted. The gas tanks, battery box and front mounted oil tank, all are mounted with vibration isolators. Mid controls/electric shifter setup were all fabricated by me. Mids were from a Dyna, cut up and re-chromed. The rest was fabbed. The oil tank is a one off that I fabricated. Sturgis wheels, PM contour hand controls, PM six piston front brake and four piston rear. Metzeler tires, Ultima 127 and Ultima 6 speed. Primo Brute IV Extreme 3" belt drive. Frame is a DNA with a 3" backbone stretch, 0" up, 38 degrees in the neck, 6 degree trees, front end is a DNA smooth billet 4" over. Chrome already looks like **** on the lower legs. Thats about it.
