Handles like a Softail only doesn't corner quite as well, but it's not bad. Turning radius of a semi tractor trailer and a little more touchy under 10 MPH than a stock softail, as would be expected with the rake and trail it's got. Pretty stable and not a bad ride with the softail suspension and shock on the seat, although I wouldn't like to ride too far with the small seat. The engine isn't as smooth asmy twin cam 88, (but almost).Better be paying attention when you twist the throttle. It goes like hell and sounds great. The brakes are excellent and predictable. The ultima six speed shifts well and the Pingel shifter works great. The Primo belt drive jingles a little with the clutch in, but the hydraulicclutch works well. All in all, about what I expected.
Not sure I like the mid controls, but overall I have to say congrats onone hell of a nice job.
Gonna have to check into those wheels, I think I would like one of them for thefront of my Custom. Maybe with a chromed Nightrain rim on the back.
Very nice ride. I'm not a huge chopper guy, but yours has a nice balance between gaudy and go. I'm sure it makes a great "around town" bike. Congrats on a beautiful bike and what looks to be some very nice handiwork!
Thanks for the thumbs up you guys. I'll try to get a better picture of the paint. It's candy red over a small red flake. Looks great when the sun hits it. Just about to head out for a ride right now. Got it registered last week.
I think it warrants a professional photo-shoot man. It's that cool. Wheel that badboy into your local JC Pennies portrait studio first chance. hehe
