Need help ASAP ( front blinker wires)
(2006 night train EFI)
I got a black, purple with black stripe and a blue....
Trying to connect joker machine LEDs in place of stock.
I have a blinker module (custom dynamics) that is supposed to control the blink rate, but having trouble finding the correct sequence. I have a "quick" blink rate right now even when I hooked it up like I thought the instructions said.
Instruction: red to constant on, black to ground, and the orange wire to the pulse signal..
any help would be awesome. !
The LED front sigs I used to have only had two wires, a ground and signal hot (pulse I guess). The black is ground, and the third wire I believe was the running light wire. Can't remember which is which. When I hooked mine up I connected the ground and touched one wire to the LED power wire, then turned the dash switch to ignition. If it lit up constant it was the running light. By default the other wire was the signal power. Hope that helped a bit, at least gave ya a bump! Good luck!
""""Blue is the running light , violet is the blinker (brown would be the other blinker) and black is ground . """"
MY BIKE:
Stock wire harness has:
1 black--1 purple w/ blk stripe--1 blue
Module has:
1 black
1 red
1 orange
LEDs have:
1 red--1 black
So
red to blue...
black to black..
orange to purple? then obvious from module to LEDs: blk to blk & rd to rd.
super confused but i it back together anyway, now I have other problems preventing the bike from running.
I think I need a LE or signal stabilizer to make the front LEDs into running lights.
