Ok here is what i need help with, put new joker machine led blinkers on.they have only 2 wires a poss. And neg.the old wires from the harley blinkers have 3..since it had been wired by the last owner, there is no molex to tap into ,he wired into the main harness,do i do i connect the poss or neg to thr third wire ,the third wire go to the directional button????any help
I just ran into the same issue on a XBones. The OE harness had 3 wires going to each turn signal one side had a violet, blue and black wire the other had a brown, blue and black. I messed around with different combos and found that the blue wire had no real function in regard to stop, run and turn. I have soldered all the connections and it works perfectly. I ran the violet wire to the hot side on one and the brown wire to hot on the other side and black to black...hope that helps.
This extra wire should be the running light function...don't think this set-up will work w/run & blink (signal only)...did they have signals w/3rd (running) wire?

Yep, two wires for signal only. Front has three stock if yours has running lights.
Hmm. Have some new Joker Machine lights front and rear that should get here next week. Ordered the Badlands Illuminator for my rears to take care of those issues. Didn't think about the front. Maybe I will just run them as turn only up front now and not running lights like they currently are.
Just had a thought. With a LED light with just 2 wires, could you hook up both positives and still get the running and turn lights? This is assuming the run puts out a lower signal to make a less bright light.

What are the colors of the wires on the rear turn signals? I ran two out of the three and have run, stop and tail/brake. The wiring diagram from the manual didn't even show the set up that was on my bike.
