I want the biggest, tallest, fattest most bulbest tires I can fit under my fenders... and if'n I gotta bend the fenders a bit to fit them in, it wont hurt my feelings at all...
02 Heritage Springer... what size do you guys think?
depends on how much room U have between U belt and tire. U'll usually rub there before rubbing the fender.
measure that and then look up some tire Specs to see what will fit.
Rule of thumb is U can go 1 size and be safe. but not always
140 is the max you can put under a Heritage Springer 02 with out making some adjustments.
You can put a 150 if you get the fender nut kit found in the 03. Even then it will be tight and has a possibility of rubbing depending on tire manufacturer.
Dunlop MU85B16 WWW in the rear (a 140 wide) is a perfect fit. No rubbing or mods necessary. You might be able to get a 140 wide WWW for the front, but the stock MT90B16 (130) fits about perfect.
