Default 2007 vs 2012 103

I'm trying to get over the loss of my 07 HD softail and other stuff that got burned up in a terrible fire at my home site. I'm replacing the bike and other stuff and thank God for USAA insurance. Question: The new bike ordered is the same PO edition softail Heritage and it will be in soon. Compared to the 96 motor of the 07 and the new 103 is there a noticeable increase in power?? I need things to look forward to after this horrible ordeal i've been through!!! I wish it on NO ONE!!!!!

Sorry for your loss....sucks.
I've owned an 07 TC96, and now a 12 103.
The 103 has a little more low end power, and I don't know if it's my immagination, I think the 103 has a beefier sound.
