Wife is really complaining on long rides about the passengerpillion on my 07 Heritage. Has anyone changed out the passenger pillion? I need a solution, other than leaving the wife home.
Our first ride (200 miles) I was informed the pillion had to go.. Along with the foot pegs. I got the matching factory pillion (a skoosh wider and thicker) and floorboads, no more complaints..
Paula wasn't happy with any of the H-D pillions. Ended up getting a Mustang wide solo and matching illion. It's all good now. We've done some 300+ mile days and she's quite happy!
I changed the stock pillion to the HD passenger pillion and my wife says it is a lot better then the stock. I can't say about any others and they may be better, but the passenger pillion is a big improvement over the stock passenger seat. Passenger fllorbaords made a huge difference for her as well. She is happy.... so I am happy.
I putthe touring pillion on my 05 heritage and the wife loved it over the stock, my rumpus was not happy with the stock seat so i switched out to a mustang seat and pillion put on passanger floorboards and now we are all happy!

I did the same thing got the matching 07 pillon and wife says it is much more comfortable.
Thanks for the great input. I have a question for Madpoodle, is the matching factory pillion also softer?
She says its not softer, but is wider and a bit thicker. Givies her more support. On the downside, the original pillion was more "square" in the front, and gave me more back support.
Anyone got closeups of the Mustang installed? I've used their products before, they make nice seats..
