I got the half moon oassenger boards on my bike. The rubber is on it is attached with in a way that it can move and absorb vibration. The weight of the damn things is also respectable and helps in absorbing vibrations.

Do you have pics? Part numbers? I'd like to see this setup because I'm not sure how you did it.

Just to confirm. My wife complained about the right peg vibration until I changed my exhaust out the it went away for her.

Changed exhaust pipe so they are no longer attached to the support plate. Don't think I have decent pics of them on the bike.

You can download the instruction sheet from the HD Accessory website;

http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US

If you are removing your exhaust and get a new one, the right hand support of the passenger boards will be different, as you will remove the bracket holding your exhaust. You will need to order the mount of the floorboard from here.

http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US

The part numbers are on the instruction sheet you can download.

Yeah, you should be able to. The previous owner put these on my Heritage. Look at the left side of the attached pic. It is in the "up" position, but you get the idea. I can take some closer pics of how they attach if you want.

My gf just complained about a vibrating passenger peg also on my 05 Nightrain but she said its on the left side. It seems tight to me so I have no clue on what could be wrong. I was thinking of replacing the stock pegs with some Iso Pegs for her but would also be interested in the floor board option

Here's some pics from both sides. Hopefully you can see how they attach.
