Default How low can the front of a deluxe go?

I recently had the burley slammer kit installed on my 06, it was supposed to be a 2 inch drop but it only lowered the rear about 1 inch and the front about an inch 1/4. Can I cut the PVC and get more drop out of it? Also want to go lower in the rear.

Keep in mind that the Deluxe comes lowered compared to other softails, so they might only get you another inch out of those kits.

Yes you can cut the spacers in the front so you have very little or no preload on the fork springs, that might lower things. The helper spring is very soft.

For the rear, it looks like the kit is a set of pressed in bolts. How much longer did these make the overall length of the shock. I guessing about 5/16ths of an inch.?.

I would not go more than a 2" drop upfront. Another inch in the rear is going to give you a very rigid ride. That is why I switched to the Shotgun Shock.

You enjoy the way your bike rides? Then just slap it all the way down.
