loud metallic ping
I have a 2000 deuce that i am getting a very loud metallic ping when i shift in to gear. it happens in every gear, and is a little louder when i down shift. I can kind of get it to make a quieter version of this sound if i do some quick hard rev's. I dont think its the trany because the ping is not muted from coming through the case or a cover. Their is oil in the trany and primary. All gear changes are still smooth. Any help would be appreciated. thanks.
