I recently bought a 2003 FXST from someone at work. He bought the bike 3 years ago but never rode it ans doesn't know a lot about it. I like the bike but the bars are terrible. I don't know if they are stock or not but am looking for options. The risers look like they turn back 2 inches or so and the bars are flat, low, wide and too close to me. I will attach a pic but it isn't a very good one. Will need to take another.
Wanted to know if these were stock bars and what options do I have with the standard length cables and controls. I am sure some of you have changed your bars out. Thanks in advance.
Looks like a stock bar that he turned up some. I went with 10inch apes and changed some cables not sure size. It was around 350$ in parts for the good cables
If the risers pull back then those are stock, they do appear to be stock. I just took a set of 12" mini apes with 1" risers they are HD bars. If interested send me a pm I will send you pics

I took the stock risers and bars off my 05 and replaced them with 1.5 inch straight risers and stock FLSTC bars. Fit me like a glove and the kept the stock cables and wiring.
