Planning my winter mod

Planning my winter mod
I'm looking at changing the triple tree and forks to get a more "chopper" look.
I have found a couple of kits:
http://www.chopper-kit-usa.com/hd_FLST.htm
http://www.seegercycle.com/softail-chopper-kit-2.aspx
anyone have any experience with either of these?
I have read on how to calculate rake and trail, but i haven't been able to figure out how these kits will effect that, which in turn will effect my handling/stability.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I know it has only been a day, but no one has nay input?
Does anyone know a tech site or somewhere to get reliable reviews?
I've done the basic searches (google/bing).
I'm just trying to get a feel for how reliabe/stable/safe making this mod would leave me.
Indy and HD both seemed hesitatant. HD guys said they have done 1 (yes ONE) but it was a mod they did without the kits...they did not reassure me at all.
Indy says they have SEEN ONE in town...thats the best they could do experience with it.
So really any advice...I am starting to sense that this may be a bad idea.

I don't know anything about their products, but with regards to handling and such from friends who ride choppers, and my dad who has a 2000 Night Train with a 5* rake, they all say that at speed, you don't notice a difference, but with slow cornering it becomes more difficult..
I'm pretty sure the Seeger Cycle kit won't work for you because you have a FatBoy with the FL front end..those are designed for the FX- front ends (wide glide style)..
personal opinion..You're looking for the "chopper" look on a Fatboy.. I wouldn't go with more than 9*... 14*+ like the other kits show just seems excessive.. I was considering a 3* or 4* rake on my FLSTFB with one of these:
http://www.covingtonscyclecity.com/#scene=Trees
http://www.seegercycle.com/fatboy-he...ple-trees.aspx
..both let you keep the stock forks, though probably would have to raise them up a bit to get the proper ride height.. just food for thought
