So I removed the luggage rack and passenger pillion and the protective film tonight, filled the holes with some 1/4-20 black chrome bolts I found at local ace hardware and they blend really well with my black fender on my 2012 deluxe so I'm happy about that.
For those that have black bikes you should note that.
But now that I have all that done I have to deal with the white bolt holders. Trimmed them down a bunch so you don't see them but now that I took them off they are loose so is there anything that I can get to replace them?
I like the idea of that, not a fan of the logo though. But does that hold the bolts up?
It doesn't do much to hold the bolts up, but it covers up the white washers that do hold the bolts up.
Yeah, I wasn't wild about the logo either, but again, my seat has a single black metal tab with holes on each end (instead of two small chrome colored tabs like shown in that picture), and it entirely covers all but a tiny bit of the logo.
