I'm looking to upgrasignals turn signals on my 2004 heritage softail, but want to keep a nostalgic look. I like the older look, but am also a bit of a minimalist when it come to motorcycles. I want to remove the light bar, and pursuit lights to clean up the front end a bit, but want turn signals. Any recomendations?
I had an '04 Fatboy and I liked the stock front turn signals on the bars. (Chrome bullet style with chrome swivel mount). They were close enough to the hand controls that I though they pretty much disappeared once I changed over to the smoked lens and amber bulb.
Obviously there are tons of aftermarket options for smaller bullets, but I think there are certain stock H-D parts that are well designed.
If you wanted a minimalist look that isn't necessarily nostalgic, I really like some of the mirrors with integrated signals like the Heartland mirrors or the H-D mirrors that have the stock shape. http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US
