Very cool! That looks very easy to do. I definitely like the ones you got off eBay much better. I also like the way you did the mesh, will definitely do that also. Do you happen to have a link to the ones you got off eBay?
Sorry, no.
But its not like they are hard to find, there are at least half a dozen companies that make or sell them.
Just get a set made to fit 41mm fork tubes and your good to go.
The only hard part is that you may have to lift the tank a little to get at the connector.
If you do be very sure you don't do anything until AFTER you have disconnected the fuel line from the tank.
It was a mistake several of us made when the bikes first came out.
It's was a rude surprise to find out how easy it is to break the line and Harley charges more $$$ for the part than the relocation clamps cost.

I looked it over last night and it looks like all I need to do is add things on the fork tubes, unbolted the turn signals and move them down. I did notice the wires were tied together with other wires so maybe that is why you are saying I need to get to the connector? They almost look like zip ties that also go into the handle bar tubes. Other than that it looks pretty straight forward.

You could lift the tank and coil the excess up and hide it under the tank too. Saves you re doing the wiring.
Train: What brand is that bag hanging on the back of your sissy bar?? Part #?
I like it!
Thanks, I use it for my gloves, clear/dark shades, helmet tie down, etc..
I honestly don't know the brand, I found it on eBay listed as "Harley Fork Bag" and took a chance on it fitting nicely there. It was only about $17.00 plus shipping, and works great. If you search for it, there are a bunch of different ones on there.
Another sissy bar bag, but smaller. just enough space for a few key items. This one is an HD version.
That's the exact sissy bar I am looking for! Did you buy it online or in a local HD store? I also like the little bag you have on the bag, that is an HD bag?

Yes, both are HD items. You can find the part numbers in their GMA accessories catalog under the Softail section. If you do not have one, you can download the PDF version online.

Ok thanks! Is that one considered a mini, small or what?
