What air cleaner is that? I love the look of it. And, what all is required to run it? does it need a stage 1? My engine is still 100% stock and I've never had a reason to change it.
It's a Kuryakyn Velociraptor. It's a velocity stack with an air filter. I'm running it with Andrews TW21 cams and Samson headpipes. The fantails are gutted and have a 1.25 inch hole on the bottom. It should do good on a stock motor.

Thanks for responding. I was reading about them and was warned I'd need a full management system to keep from going lean. I was also wondering about the performance in the wet. I don't usually pull over when it rains.

It's possible you could run lean without remapping on an FI bike. I'm running a Mikuni HSR 42 carb and I rejetted it. I'm actually a little on the rich side now. Got some figuring to do. As far as the rain goes, we rode up on the Cherohala Skyway a couple weeks ago and got caught in 3 major down pours (yeah, it sucked). The bike ran great. I don't have a water sock either.

That's good news at least, about the rain I mean.
I'm looking at $400 for the tuner and $180 for the filter. That's a chunk. Yesterday my computer crashed and I had to buy a new one, so there went that budget lol. But I appreciate it, I'll be looking into it, I LOVE the look and have been waiting for an excuse to go Stage 1.
Ok I officially found my favorite thread on this forum and I'm only on the 4th page. I'm really just posting now so I can find it again but I'll post a couple pics of my scooter. It's a work in progress, I'm literally working on my new front fender right now. I just got new levers yesterday and got the back fender on a couple weeks ago.
Straight pipes on her and she is loud but still not loud enough to where I can't hear the wife and kid lol
