I am seriously considering adding a HS to my stable. Was hoping to get some advice & info. I really like the 2003 Anniv ones, either gun metal or silver/black combo. Anything special I need know, known issues, parts that wear out or fall off faster than normal?

Also, did HD make HS after 2003? What year did they stop? Any year better?

TIA for any education!

Check out www.heritagespringer.com. It will have a lot of valuable information about the HS. 2003 was the last year of the HS, which was followed by the Springer Classic - different, but similar.

Nothing specific that I recall to the HS. But, for the 00 to 03 HS models, you'll want to inspect/upgrade the cam chain tensioners and bearings. If you end up with a 04-06 Springer Classic, the same applies.

Hope that helps!

It does! Thank you RedBeard! I found the site you mentioned, thanks! The address has changed - http://www.heritagespringer.com/

So the quest is on for a 2003!

Here are a few of my Fat Bastard springer conversion. Rear fender finally on and now working on the front fender and exhaust.
