Hey guys, I didn't wanna start a new thread and I found this one and have a couple questions about springers. I have been leaning towards a crossbone for a second bike and was wondering what I should know or beaware of on riding a springer. I read here that the bike handles different then shock front ends, is the maintence any more or less the feel different. I have 40 years experience on many bikes but never a springer. Currently have a limited and love it, just curious what some of you have to say about springers.
Thanks.

It's a good different...

Extra maintenance is minimal...

Thanks Dan. Will see how they hold up once I start riding, Willwood said they should stay black. Worth a try at 95.00 each.

I have the Wilwood rotors. The contact point with the brake pad scuffs off immediately. The rest of them seem to hold.. I've only had them a couple months.

That's what I figured, but the price was right

Heres an update on my Bones with the completed fender swap. Now just to figure out how to connect the fender light, if anyone has any ideas please help a brotha out. I think HD really missed the mark with the original fenders that came on the Bones, what the hell were they thinking...
