Just adjust your grip just like when visiting those 4 hoes on thumb street! LMAO Seriously though, I think it's a very common problem and I just continually adjust/change my grip. Before my next long ride I'm going to order a throttle tender. There are a couple different throttle tenders out there and search that, there are a few threads on here about this topic.
As you can see, there are different issues for different riders. Just try different things based on the good advice you find here (before heading to the doc haha).
Happens to me as well; what works for me is to adjust my grip a bit and/or relax my grip and my shoulders/arms.
Thanks for the ideas i want to roll the handle bars forward first and I have thought about getting the bigger grips too. Really want i want is apes but I don't know enough about what fits without modifying the cables etc. I will see how it goes, i do ride with gloves just not gel type. No Surgery!!
The Crampbuster is "attached" to the grip with spring pressure meaning you can change the position on the fly based on your riding speed. You just flip it up and it locks where you want it.
The TR attaches with velcro and therefore remains in a fixed position.
I use the TR on the clutch side as a palm rest and the Crampbuster on the throttle side.

I'm gonna have to try the crampbuster and do a little bit more handlebar adjustment.
Thanks.
use the throttle tension starwheel , I have mine set to hold at any throttle setting , yep , I have to twist it to reduce throttle, its easy , to do , just set it to hold not lock .
the old bikes(1940-50's were this way , on/off throttle , and dont forget the left grip rotated the spark advance ..
spring-loaded to idle is for dirtbikes , or people that want numb right hands..
Others have said wear some gel padded gloves, and that works for me. Also, try using a throttle rocker of some sort. Lets you use the heel of your hand to keep the throttle going instead of gripping and twisting.
For me, Crampbuster is the solution. When in the city or slow changing traffic speeds, I just rotate it out of the way. Just rest the heel of your hand on the crampbuster, relax and ride on.
Ok so I tried to adjust my bars but what kind of tool is needed? it looks round i thought it was a 6 pt type head but none of my tools work on? is this a tool from harley a $100 tool ha ha
