I think of Harley miles on a bike similar to miles on a car. A car with 32k is kinda sorta new IMO. Lots of guys with Harleys with well over 100k miles.
I'd be more concerned about the price. New they go for $16.5k and you get the 103. If you bought in the winter off peak time you could easily knock off $1k or more. Hope you like all the adds ons the other guy put on. I'm not wild about the bags, windshield or seat but you might like them. Sissy bar and luggage rack is nice if it's detachable IMO. New they go for $450 ish. Probably could find it cheaper on E Bay or craigslist for half that. Does it have pipes on it that you like or are they stock ?
Wierd thing about Harley dealerships. When you trade in a bike they don't give you a penny more for all the stuff you added to your bike but when they sell it they sure do include all that stuff in the price.

The title says it all. I can get a really pretty 2007 Fatboy, with lots of goodies for about $12k. The catch is, it has 32k miles. That seems like a lot to me. Is it?
Thanks,
Steve
Sounds like an everyday rider to me.........6,400 miles a year is either several long trip a year or daily riding to work. I purchased an 07 two years ago with 1,500 total miles on it..........it now has 16,000 so I don't think that's too much. Two kinds of buyers, those who buy and park and those who buy and ride......sounds like he was a rider. The dealer should be able to tell you the maintenance history if HD did the work. I keep all my receipts (do my own work) maybe this person did the same.
While I don't think that is high mileage ,there are much better deals around. I have seen same year (2007) with lots of goodies on craigslist .They range in price from 10,500 to 13,000 ish. The only difference is they usually have less than 8000 miles most of them have less than 6000 miles MHO.
