Kuryakyn 1640 detachable side plates width?

Kuryakyn 1640 detachable side plates width?
My next mod is to install the Kuryakyn chrome detachable sissy bar side plates to my Fat Boy. All my research seems to confirm that they install without any interference with the turn signals, so it looks like they are a go. My question is about their width, and what sissy bar I need to use with them. I have two sissy bars in the garage now. They are both 5 1/2 ID and 6 3/4 OD. Will these sissy bars work with the Kuryakyn side plates on a 2005 Softail or will I need to purchase another bar? Any help would be much appreciated.
