Default dual disk on a Heritage softail classic

Does anyone know of a setup for dual disks on a 2002 Heritage softail classic? my Girls bike is heavy and the brakes leave a lot to be desired, I'm used to my FXDXT with dual disk and I would like to see her bike have better brakes!

That is the a big negative with softails - not enough braking. A few have done dual disks. Not a cheap or easy mod. The forks are not setup for a second caliper. She will get used to it... Since the bike is 10 years old, make sure everything is working properly and the brake fluids have been changed as recommended - every two years.

Default Dual Calipers

This is a Heritage that was modified to work better. As all should know we do improved handling and no chrome/paint. This customer wanted 2" longer forks for added ground clearance as well as increased lean angle. HD tires suck so that rubber went out the window. A set of longer "Beer Cans" were added and the longer forks with dual caliper mounts were installed. A dual flange hub was installed and laced with polished SS spokes to a 17" hoop. I offer caliper adapters to adapt real Brembo calipers onto a pair of 320mm rotors. Not hard but buying real equipment costs money as does all high performance equipment. Here it is:

This is the way they should come from the factory. Style should not take a back seat to safety.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I can make my front tire sqeak easy,, anymore pressure I'd lock it up..

Don't know how much more I would want or need.

Those who are complaining maybe U need to check out the whole front brake system..

Lots of reasons they may not be working properly..
