I was considering them but then I looked at HD wish book and I noticed they had 3" extensions that use your exsisting pegs like the AN product. Have any of you guys looked at these?
I did. Work fine for me. A couple of members asked for some pics and I made a post about it right here if you are interested: https://www.hdforums.com/m_1143144/tm.htm
And I agree with the original post. If you're 6' or taller extensions will make all the difference in the world.
It looks like theymoved out as well as forward or am I seeing differently? I moved my floorboards forward using Bubbas Brake kit, can't remember how much it moved them forward but I don't think it was three inches, anyway , I wonder if I can still put on the AN extension kit on with the Bubba's kit.
I't doesn't feel as if they've moved out at all, just further forward.
To be honest I was worried that 3" wouldn't be enough (I'm 6' 3") as 3" isn't very much but it's amazing just how much further forward they feel.
I did look at the HD ones but here in the UK (not surprisingly) they would have been way more expensive.
The AN one's seem really well made and finished.
The other great thing about having extensions is that you can get to clean the crap off of the front of the primary covers much easier. Before it was almost impossible to get anything in between the pegs and the covers to clean. SAD eh?!!!!
I'm also a big fan of the 3" foward extentions. I got the Harley ones off of Ebay and fell in love. It was weird at first having to swing my legs so far forward but I love 'em.
