Prolly be a good idea. Take your time. read and re-read the manual and instructions. There are a couple videos on youtube about it- watch em. Take your time. I never did it before, took about 5 hours. Do you have all the o-rings and gasket? Good luck! Let us know how it turns out.

The short answer is yes. I had SE 204 cams installed this past winter and the PCIII dyno tuned, very nice.

lucky for me the fellow I ordered my 204 cams through gave me a set of spacers, let me use the one I needed, and gave the rest back. and I gave him my original one as well. worked good for me and saved a couple bucks.

Are you talking about the spacer that goes behind the cam sprocket? Best to measure for it once you have the new cams in place and then go get the one need. That's what I did when I did my cams last year. There are videos as well as some write-ups here on how to do that. Most notably the one by ATrain68 found here. There are like 5-6 available thicknesses, so it's best to know exactly which one you need, cuz those things ain't exactly cheap.

Yes, get it. It's worth making sure you have the right fit instead of just using the old spacer and only being close. When I just swapped my 255's for some 575 I was able to use the old one, but I did have some extras on hand...
