Can someone explain why you'd want an open primary?

Why? Why? Why? That is the question. Why? Why do we do any of the things we do? To save money? To save time ? Why? Our bikes seem to run fine when we buy them... Why do we spend so much money on them when they seen to run fine? Why? When you figure this out, please let me know. My bike has cost me plenty, and I'm sure why my wife would like to know the answer to the question...Why?

I am interested in seeing the footboard mounting with a setup that wide. When is it going on? Just think of all the money you are going to save on primary oil, it will pay for itself in no time ! Lol
