Not hijacking your thread bud, just joining in the fun.
Good deal man. You will love it. Also be sure to pull your rotor off and clean the crap out of your stator. It seems that sucker will seep primary fluid forever making you think you have a leak!!!!!

Well since you guys mentioned it...from the Ultima site:

The updated kits (58-800, 58-801, 58-700, 58-730) will now fit Softail models between the years 1990-2006
(and custom applications) using either an Evo or a Twin CamŽ motor. We designed the motor plate to accept the fixed distance
found between the late model Twin CamŽ motors and transmission. This is achieved by modifying the shaft housing center to
center distance in the motor plate. Since the earlier Evo models use slotted holes in their frames, the transmissions can then be
adjusted to fit the new design without any issues. This change affects the following parts; the motor plate, outboard support
(if used), and the belt

The blarb on the BDL website states that it comes with lock up clutch which is much easier to pull, not that I find mine heavy or anything, but a lighter touch would be better.
Also I've ordered some Harley Goodies floorboard extenders to space my boards out, as BDL got back to me and said that I would need to move my boards out by 3/4''.
I emailed Harley Goodies to see if there was any discount through being a member here, but got nothing back!!, so I ordered them from their Ebay shop.
