I was driving home two days ago and a pretty nice 600cc crotch rocket came up to the light i was sitting at (Couldn't tell you what make/model it was, but I asked his hp and he told me 160 hp stock, so it wasn't one of those older slower ones). He asked me how much power I was putting out with the supercharger and I told him, he was like "thats pretty sweet". The light turned green and we eased off the line....at about 25 mph we hit it....I pulled on him and I looked in my rear view mirror and saw him wheelin' so i'm figuring he was getting on it. The higher i took the rpms the more i pulled on him. After about 100 mph i let off and he was multiple bike lengths behind me.
I'm not posting this to talk **** about crotch rockets or the riders, actually the guy riding it was cool as hell. I was just excited about it. I have to admit it was fun pulling on one like a freakin freight train though!!
yea the best advantage a rocket has on a car is the 0-60 time, so starting at 25 helped. when i was on my f4i (and drove stupid) i was waiting to turn left and a mustang cobra was coming the other way, turning right on the same street. when he turned he smashed the gas and burnt out and threw a bunch of sandy crap off the road up so i turn and shoot into the left lane and dusted him, i had him passed and was back in the right lane in probably 3 blocks.
every person with a mustang, camaro, or a crappy ricer with an exhaust can wants to race you when ur ona rocket, and for about the first 2 years, u usually oblige. lol
E2A: sorry when you said driving i thought you meant a car. yea with those numbers in your sig its not surprise you blew him away. i know i never expected a harley to be fast enough wheni had my 600, he probably didnt know what had happened see a harley pull away like that lol

Yep did that all the time on our slightly modified '06 XL1200C Sporty for the first 100 + yards or so. Top end they get ya but off the line on a Sporty no way, hehehe...
