Default Chrome & black textured part care.

Im sure this has been covered, but nothing stood out in my search. Guess I missed it. But I polished the bike I just inherited. Love the chrome on the Deuce, but man it is a PITA polishing all that!!! Then to make matters worse, God help you if you get any accidentally on the black textured engine coating.

So... 1) what is (if any) the easier/quicker way to polish chrome and do it well?
2) what is the secret to getting polish residue off the black parts? Or even to clean those same parts/portions?

A wash and wax/polish is good for awhile. No need to wax/polish after every washing.
Are you using some type of spray polish to get it on the texture black paint? Spray it on the cloth not directly on the chrome.

http://www.pigspit.com/ or http://www.s100.com/s100_eb.htm works at keeping the engine new looking.
Those are sprayed on the engine and then the excess wiped off.

Just the ticket! Bought two cans since the engine has never been treated before... But one can did it with some to spare. Looks good! I wondered if it wouldn't be greasy, kind of like silicone tire dressings like "Tire Wet". But it isn't at all. Wipes off chrome very easily, pretty easy to apply, and I never noticed any odd smells or smoking during the subsequent brief ride I took.

Default Chrome cleaner

Use Eagle One Nevr-Dull for the chrome. Works excellent and easy to keep off chrome parts.
