Default spring classic

Its recommended to adjust springs at 500 miles accroding to my stealer, I have a service manual on order and I like doing my own wrenching. Is this a major job, any special tools needed beside torque wrench. I just do not trust any of the dealer in my area, I have heard nothing but bad stories of the ones around me, everytime I take my bike in, they try to sell me extra parts that they can't that I should not need on a brand new bike, it's a 06 classic.
Also anyone know of a trusting mech. in the south fla. area, you could e-mail me. Thanks

I your are doing it yourself, you need the correct torque wrench, it explains this in the manual. I wouldwork up to speedvery slowly and carefully during your road test. The service manual has good info. Follow it like your life depends on it.
